Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card will be presented in the second half of March

According to a French resource Cowcotland graphics accelerator AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT will be presented in mid-March, rather in its second half. There were rumors about this before, but now the exact date has been announced.

The novelty is expected on March 18, that is, a little more than two weeks after the release of the GeForce RTX 3060 graphics accelerator, for which the Radeon RX 6700 XT will become a direct competitor.

Early leaks indicated that the Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics chip, codenamed Navi 22, is based on the 7nm RDNA 2 architecture, has 40 execution units with 2560 stream processors on board, and can also receive up to 40 ray accelerators. The video card is equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6 video memory with a bus width of 192 bits. This information has been confirmed by various manufacturers of video cards that have registered their versions of this graphics accelerator in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

Despite numerous leaks and rumors, the performance level of the Radeon RX 6700 XT is still a complete mystery. According to Cowcotland, citing its sources, at the start of sales, the availability of the new Radeon video card will be very limited. The novelty will be offered both in the reference design of AMD and in non-reference designs from the company’s partners.
