Razer has unveiled the updated Blade 15 and Blade Pro 17 slim gaming laptops. New products have received fresh GeForce RTX 30 series mobile graphics accelerators.

The younger Blade 15 model has three 15.6-inch display options: one supports Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 360 Hz; the second offers QHD resolution with a refresh rate of 240 Hz; the third is a 4K touch panel with 60Hz refresh rate. For the older 17-inch Blade Pro 17 model, screens are available with Full HD resolution with a refresh rate of 360 Hz, a resolution of QHD and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, as well as an option with an Ultra HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The younger Blade 15 model can use a six-core Intel Core i7-10750H (2.6 / 5.0 GHz) and an eight-core Intel Core i7-10875H (2.3 / 5.1 GHz) Comet Lake processors. The laptop is ready to offer up to 32 GB of DDR4-2933 RAM, NVMe-storage up to 512 GB, as well as one of three graphics accelerators: GeForce RTX 3060, GeForce RTX 3070 or GeForce RTX 3080. The latter is presented in configurations with 8 and 16 GB of dedicated video memory GDDR6.

The Razer Blade 15 is equipped with one Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C), three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, one HDMI 2.1 and a microSD card slot. In addition, the new product offers support for the wireless standards Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1. In the maximum configuration, the Razer Blade 15 runs on a built-in 80 Wh battery.

The older model Razer Blade Pro 17 can only be equipped with an eight-core and sixteen-thread Intel Core i7-10875H with a frequency range from 2.3 to 5.1 GHz. The manufacturer is ready to offer up to 32 GB of RAM for this model (the maximum amount of supported memory is 64 GB) and a solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB (the maximum volume is 2 TB). The choice of graphics accelerators for the 17.3-inch version of the Razer gaming laptop matches the younger Blade 15.

The equipment of the older version also includes three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A connectors, one Thunderbolt 3 (Type-C), as well as HDMI 2.1 and a slot for microSD memory cards. The novelty offers support for wireless standards Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 and is equipped with a 70.5 Wh battery.

The Razer Blade 15 starts at $ 1,700 (1,800 euros). This model will be on sale from January 26th. For the older model Razer Blade Pro 17, they will ask for $ 2300 (2400 euros). It will go on sale in the first quarter of 2021.
