Realme Introduces Affordable Buds Air Neo In-Ear Wireless Headphones May 25

The official Indian site, Realme, has shared information on the new fully wireless Buds Air Neo in-ear headphones. The promo page of the novelty demonstrates their appearance, and also talks about some technical characteristics. In addition, the company announced when it introduced the new product.

At first glance, the Buds Air Neo look exactly the same as the regular version of the Buds Air TWS headphones, which Realme recently officially launched on the Russian market. However, upon closer inspection, differences are still found. The “legs” of the Buds Air Neo headphones do not have a silver ring, as well as visible dual microphones, like the older model. This may speak in favor of the absence of an active noise reduction system.

At the heart of Buds Air Neo are 13mm emitters. The headphones will come with a charging case, which will provide a total of 17 hours of battery life due to the possibility of recharging. The headphones themselves are capable of only three hours of battery life.

The original Buds Air uses 12mm drivers and comes in a charging case with a USB-C connector and wireless charging support. Buds Air Neo will not receive the latter, since the novelty is positioned as a more affordable option. The case is equipped with a Micro-USB connector and does not have a wireless charging system.

The budget version, like the older one, uses a dual data channel (each earphone is connected to a sound source separately), and also offers a low-latency mode. According to Realme, it reduces latency by 50% compared to normal operation.

Like the older model, Buds Air Neo immediately syncs with the smartphone when you open the case. Headphones have touch control. It allows you to answer calls, pause and resume music playback, change musical compositions, as well as call a voice assistant and enable low-latency mode. To exchange data with a mobile device, use Bluetooth 5.0 wireless.

Fully wireless Buds Air Neo headphones will be available in three colors: white, red and green. The company has not yet announced the cost of new items, but the Indian store Flipkart previously reported that the cost of the Buds Air Neo will be about $ 40, which is $ 13 cheaper than the regular version of Buds Air.

Announcement of new items is expected on May 25. Together with it, Realme will also present its first “smart” watch and smart TV Realme TV.
