Red Dead Redemption 2 hacked a year after the release

The series of high-profile hacking of games continues. Users did not have time to move away from the sensational return of the CPY group, which first posted four well-known games on torrent trackers, and then Marvel’s Avengers and Crysis Remastered, as Empress said about himself. This lone hacker first broke through the defenses of Mortal Kombat 11, but the NetherRealm fighting game had an old version of Denuvo, so this is not an indicator. Now he was marked by a more important event – the hack of Red Dead Redemption 2.

The PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in November 2019, meaning its defense lasted almost a year. The game is equipped with two technologies at once from hacking. The first is called Arxan and is a third-party solution, and the second is Rockstar Games’ own protection built into the Social Club. A lone hacker managed to bypass all the mentioned obstacles and posted Red Dead Redemption 2 on pirate resources.

In the comments on the CrackWatch site, which talks about hacking activities but does not post their releases, users reported problems with the launch of the unlicensed version of RDR 2. However, Empress reacted quickly and has already released a patch.
