The Russian ODM manufacturer Rikor announced the start of the release of data storage systems. It is expected that the partners will be able to apply new hardware solutions in various projects involving the use of domestic software.
The devices are based on a RIKOR server motherboard with a second or third generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor. Depending on the modification, a RIKOR case of 2U, 3U or 4U rack mounting is used.
The 2U model supports up to 26 hot-swappable 2.5 ”drives. The 3U solution is designed for 20 drives in a 3.5-inch form factor. Finally, the 4U version accommodates 36 3.5-inch drives.
In addition, all servers have optional support for two to four NVMe SSDs. The devices are equipped with fault-tolerant power supplies from 800 to 1200 W with 80 PLUS Platinum certification and support for “hot swap”.
All Rikor equipment has a conclusion from the Ministry of Industry and Trade confirming its Russian origin. The storage servers will be available for testing next month.
