The Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Roshydromet) and the State Corporation Rostec signed an agreement on the creation of an integrated information system for condition monitoring
environment on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Cooperation will be aimed at the development of digital services, platforms and systems of Roshydromet, as well as their integration with other federal, regional and private information systems.
The result of the work should be the formation of a unified digital ecosystem in the areas related to the competence of the state structure. One of the priority areas of cooperation will be the development
client-oriented private digital platforms and services.
Roshydromet and Rostec also plan to jointly attract additional public and private funds to co-finance the development and implementation of new types of equipment, measuring instruments,
collection, processing, storage, transmission of hydrometeorological data, information on the state and pollution of the environment.
JSC “KRET” (part of the State Corporation Rostec) began to supply Roshydromet with a new generation of equipment for atmospheric radio sounding. The Polyus-S system has no Russian counterparts and allows
double the accuracy of weather forecasting. The development is intended not only to obtain meteorological information (temperature, humidity, pressure, wind direction and speed), but
and for measuring special parameters: radiation, industrial gas emissions, aerosols. Roshydromet, within the framework of the agreement between the equipment manufacturer and FGBU “Gidrometservis”, has already started
equip their weather stations with new systems.
