Russian-made electronic price tags are sent to retail chains

In 2021, Ryazan State Instrument Plant JSC (part of KRET JSC of Rostec State Corporation) will deliver the first batch of electronic graphic price tags (ESL) to large retail chains of the country – ER Telecom Holding JSC and DNS Retail LLC, OJSC “The Snow Queen”. KRET price tags have no domestic counterparts and not only inform the buyer about the product and price, but also help to call a consultant and find the product in the hall.

Unlike foreign counterparts, electronic price tags developed by JSC GRPZ are endowed with light and sound indication – this makes it easier to find the desired position in the large hall of the trading network. Also, the button to call the seller-consultant on the price tag will allow you to quickly service the buyer.

“The system is integrated with 1C and does not require additional software. For control, a smartphone, tablet, personal computer or any device that will allow using Bluetooth v.5.0 to communicate with price tags can act as a base. At the same time, the range of such a base in the trading floor is 40 meters, one device can cover 65 thousand price tags “, – stated in a press release on the Rostec website.

It is also important that the price tag battery lasts longer, and at the same time, they are significantly cheaper than similar devices. For large retail chains, both of these factors will reduce the overhead costs of creating and maintaining the appropriate infrastructure, and the future lies with it – there can hardly be any doubt about that.
