Russian users of Samsung Galaxy A51 will be the first to receive the update to One UI 2.5

Samsung continues to implement the new version of the proprietary One UI 2.5 interface on an increasing number of branded smartphones. The company most recently refreshed its 2018 flagship devices like the Galaxy S9 and Note 9, and has now joined the mid-range Galaxy A51.

Today, a new firmware with One UI 2.5 and the October security patch has begun to be distributed among Russian smartphone users. In other regions, software with build number A515FXXU4CTJ1 will be available in the coming weeks. Recall that the new firmware includes a lot of interesting features presented with the current flagship family of Samsung Galaxy Note 20. Among them, it is worth noting support for the wireless DeX mode, which allows you to turn a smart TV into an external screen for a smartphone without using cables.

In addition, in the new firmware, Samsung has significantly redesigned the Camera application, as well as improved the proprietary on-screen keyboard, making it more convenient to use.

Recall that the Galaxy A51 smartphone was presented in December last year. It is able to offer a 6.5-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD + Infinity-O Super AMOLED screen, a proprietary Exynos 9611 processor with eight cores, up to 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 128 GB. A 32MP camera is installed in front. The main quad camera combines 48 million and 12 million pixel sensors, as well as a pair of 5 million pixel sensors.
