Samsung denies rumors of discontinuation of Galaxy Note devices

According to online sources, Samsung has no intention of discontinuing new Galaxy Note series devices. This was reported by the largest South Korean news agency Yonhap News, citing the words of its own source, who confirmed that next year the series of flagship phablets will be updated with new models.

We’re getting ready to launch new Galaxy Note devices next year“- said a representative of Samsung, who wished to remain anonymous.

Recently, there have been rumors that Samsung plans to abandon the release of new phablets from the Galaxy Note series, which stand out from other devices of the company thanks to support for control using the company’s S-Pen stylus. It was assumed that the South Korean company will focus on creating new models of smartphones with flexible display Galaxy Z and devices of the Galaxy S series. Now it turns out that at least next year, new Galaxy Note devices will appear on the market.

This week, the head of Samsung’s mobile division, Roh Tae-moon, shared with reporters the company’s plans for next year, noting that support for branded S-Pen styluses will no longer be exclusive to Galaxy Note devices and will be available in other products. According to experts, first of all, Samsung is implementing support for the S-Pen in the flagship device Galaxy S21, which is expected to debut in January 2021.

Recall that the first devices of the Galaxy Note series were presented in 2011. Samsung usually announces new Note device models in the second half of the year.
