Over the past few years, Samsung has invested heavily in building and setting up its manufacturing facilities in India. A couple of months ago, Chaebol resumed production of smartphones after a temporary interruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic. According to the latest reports, this contract manufacturer now launches the entire range of Samsung smart watches.
Among other things, Samsung has released a new version of the smart watch Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G, made in an aluminum case. It is produced only in the Indian partner factories of the company. Recall that the original version of the device, presented seven months ago, is made in a titanium case. It is worth noting that LTE support is present only in the 44 mm version of the watch. The device will be available in silver, black and pink-gold colors.
A new aluminum watch modification will go on sale from tomorrow. The cost of a device with support for 4G LTE will be $ 380. According to unconfirmed reports, all the company’s smart watches, including the upcoming Galaxy Watch 3, will be produced exclusively in India.
