Introduced in early September, Samsung’s The Premiere 4K Ultra Short Throw Laser Projectors are now available for purchase. The LSP7T model, capable of forming images up to 120 inches diagonally, was priced by the company at $ 3500, and the LSP9T model, designed to display images up to 130 inches, is offered by Samsung for $ 6500.
Both projectors are described by the manufacturer as ultra short beam projectors. In other words, they can be placed in the immediate vicinity of the screen or wall on which they will display the image.
The different display size is not the only difference between the two models. The older model has a higher brightness, which is 2800 ANSI lumens, while the younger model has a brightness level of 2200 ANSI lumens. In addition, the LSP9T is equipped with a 40W 4.2ch audio system, while the LSP7T is equipped with a 2.2ch 30W audio system.
Otherwise, both new items have similar features. They run the Tizen operating system, which is commonly used in Samsung TVs. Both support control with Amazon Alexa and Samsung Bixby voice assistants. Laser projectors, which means that the resource of their light sources is higher than that of lamps that are used in conventional projectors. The manufacturer also claims that The Premiere series are the first projectors to support the HD10 + image standard.
The Premiere LSP7T and LSP9T laser projectors can already be ordered through the official Samsung website. The manufacturer indicates that the delivery of new products will begin on October 16.
