Samsung has opened beta versions of Android 11 with One UI 3.0 to owners of Samsung Galaxy A51 and M31 smartphones. Previously, the company rarely paid attention to devices from the budget and mid-budget segment, and mostly beta versions were released only for flagship devices. Now that has changed, and perhaps the reason is the popularity of both models.
Along with the flagships Galaxy S20 and Note 20, Samsung is preparing to release a system update based on Android 11 with One UI 3.0 shell for the Galaxy A and Galaxy M smartphone family. Samsung Galaxy A51 and M31 owners living in South Korea and India can already register in the Samsung Members app as beta testers. After that, their devices will receive an OTA update to Android 11. Journalists from 9to5Google praised the company’s attention to support for low-cost devices.
According to the schedule that was released on December 2, 2020, the Galaxy M31 and A51 should receive the update in March 2021. And the flagships Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra will be able to update from December. It is also known that the new version of the operating system for Note 20 and Note 20 will be released in January 2021.
Today, the cost of the Galaxy Buds Pro headphones and some previously unpublished characteristics have also become known.
