Sber is developing a corporate video conferencing platform called Jazz by Sber. The platform will offer many of the features that are used in conventional consumer services of this kind, but at the same time it will have a number of unique features designed specifically for corporate users.
In particular, it is noted that to use the platform, you only need a browser and an Internet connection. In addition, the platform will have a closed architecture. Jazz by Sber can be deployed only in the company’s internal network, integrating it into the internal infrastructure of its IT department. The advantage of this approach to using the platform is security. All calls through Jazz will be made only within the company, and the work of the service itself will not be blocked or corrected from the outside. The platform will also offer the ability to restrict access to video chats for certain users.
“The corporate platform Jazz by Sber works on the basis of the WebRTC library, which uses a protected RTCP video protocol, uses OpenSource solutions, does not require downloading applications to the device, allows all participants to share an image from their screen and quickly switch between them and, most importantly, does not have time limits for the meeting “, – indicated in the press release of the company.
The Jazz platform is developed by the SberDevices division. Its distribution will be handled by Sber’s technological partner, Dialogue, a developer of the Dialog Enterprise corporate messenger.
