Senior game designer Cyberpunk 2077 leaves CD Projekt RED after eight years in the studio

Cyberpunk 2077 senior game designer Andrzej Zawadzki made an important statement – after eight years at CD Projekt RED, he decided to leave the Polish studio. The developer chose not to expand on the reasons for leaving.

Post by Andrzej Zawadsky reads: “After almost eight years, my time at CDPR has come to an end. The moment has come for a new adventure. To everyone I met on [творческом] ways – thanks. It was an honor and a pleasure [для меня]… See you later”… Where Zavadsky will continue to work is currently unknown. According to his LinkedIn profile, he started working at CD Projekt RED in the summer of 2013 as a tester. Three years later, the developer was promoted to Junior Game Designer, and in March 2020, he became Senior Game Designer at Cyberpunk 2077.

According to CDPR CEO Adam Kiciński, after the problematic release of Cyberpunk 2077, staff outflow from the studio has not increased.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10, 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, GeForce Now and Google Stadia.
