Shadows die twice blindfold

American speedrunner LilAggy recently held a live broadcast in which he tried to defeat the final boss of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice while blindfolded. Be careful: the text contains spoilers

According to the enthusiast, he lacked confidence in the success of his initiative, but the streamer was determined to give it a try. As a precaution, LilAggy took two bandages for himself and even turned off the monitor.

The battle against Isshin, nicknamed the Sword Master, is preceded by a battle with Genichiro. LilAggy was interested in Isshin, so the speedrunner took advantage of the opportunity added in the October patch to call a specific boss for revenge.

Thus, LilAggy got rid of the need to break through Genichiro to the coveted enemy from time to time and at the same time deprived himself of the advantage of a completely improved character – in revenge, the hero has a given level of strength.

It took LilAggy only about three hours to defeat Isshin while blindfolded. The streamer posted the ending of his only successful attempt on his personal microblog (tweet attached above).

LilAggy’s impromptu challenge was not the first in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Previously, the enthusiast overcame the resistance of all story bosses with the help of a dance mat.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available on PC (Steam), PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. With the release of the mentioned content update, the game has also been replenished with a message system and three costumes for the main character.
