Silent Hill creator names PC as main platform for his new studio’s debut game

The creator of Silent Hill, Siren and Gravity Rush Keiichiro Toyama, in an interview with IGN Japan, shared the details of his new studio’s debut project.

Recall that in early December Toyama announced his departure from Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio and the establishment of Bokeh Game Studio. The company plans to develop games for PC and consoles.

The production of the first project has already started, but it has not made much progress yet – the team has barely moved to the prototype stage. In this regard, the release is expected no earlier than 2023.

As for platform affiliation, Toyama does not yet have a ready-made list: “We are developing with an eye on the PC, but we hope to release the game on as many consoles as possible.”

As it was already known, the debut development of Bokeh Game Studio will be an action-adventure game. Today, Toyama added that the project will surely appeal to fans of his past works.

“For that matter, the game will be more horror-oriented. But we are focused on creating a broader entertainment experience than a hardcore horror movie. “Toyama said.

Despite the revelations from Toyama, very little is known about the debut project Bokeh Game Studio. However, the studio has already promised to periodically invite players behind the scenes of development.
