Sales of Silicon Power UD70 series solid-state drives (SSD) in M.2 2280 form factor with PCIe Gen3 x4 interface have started in Russia. New items are suitable for DIY PC assembly lovers, gamers, video editors and anyone who just wants to update the configuration of their computer.
Thanks to the use of 3D QLC NAND technology with high cell density, the storage capacity is up to 2TB while maintaining a minimal size. The new drives support NVMe 1.3 protocol. The declared information read speed is up to 3400 MB / s, the write speed is up to 3000 MB / s.
The UD70 series uses a dual self-cooling system that operates in Active State Power Management (ASPM) and goes into Autonomous Power State Transition (APST) when not in use. In addition, thermal throttling is used to avoid sudden drop in read / write speed or data corruption.
These technologies enable the UD70 to keep temperatures to a minimum for consistently high performance over its entire lifespan.
The series includes 500GB, 1TB and 2TB models. New items can be purchased at the DNS retailer’s network of stores. The cost of a model with a capacity of 500 GB is 6299 rubles, a model with a capacity of 1 TB will cost 12 299 rubles, 2 TB – 21 599 rubles.
