Due to the built-in electronics, the Fliteboard eFoil for swimming using an electric motor allows real-time monitoring of 35 parameters of the device components and data on the orientation of the board and swimmer in space and time. To this end, the eFoil developer has released the Flite application with data transfer to the popular Strava service for tracking the activity of athletes. This makes it possible not only to follow and share data on swims and routes, but also to customize the board configuration, for example, changing the geometry of the hydrofoils and objectively evaluating changes in practice.

The eFoil board is driven by a brushless electric motor and can move an hour and a half at full charge. The engine control is wireless, via Bluetooth, using the remote control. The speed developed by the eFoil board reaches 45 km / h. Strong excitement is obviously contraindicated for this type of transport. It only upsets that the cost of an electric board starts at $ 12,935. If it was 4-5 times cheaper, the demand for it would be higher, and Fliteboard released a little more than 1,000 boards in less than two years of sales.
