Internet sources have published new information about the flagship smartphones of the Mate 40 family, which the Chinese company Huawei will officially present this fall.
The series is known to include the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus. In addition, a special modification of the Mate 40 Porsche Special Edition is expected. All devices will receive a high-quality screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a hole for a selfie camera. In the back there will be a multi-module camera enclosed in a circular area.
A new piece of information concerns the power subsystem. It is alleged that the developer will endow smartphones with support for fast wired charging technology with a power of up to 66 watts. At the same time, the battery capacity of the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus will be respectively 4300, 4600 and 5000 mAh.
It is noted that the Mate 40 device will be supplied with the proprietary software add-on EMUI 10.x, while the older versions of the Mate 40 Pro will use the latest EMUI 11 shell.
The 5-nanometer Kirin processor will serve as the electronic “brain” of smartphones: the Mate 40 series devices will become the latest flagships of Huawei on proprietary chips. Buyers will be able to choose between versions with 8 and 12 GB of RAM. The flash drive capacity will be up to 512 GB.
