Sony PTZ camera in Kospet Prime 2 watch will help with self-portrait

Major premium smartwatch maker Kospet is working on Prime 2. Numerous leaks have emerged in the specifications and other details of this device. According to the last of them, a rotating Sony camera with an IMX214 sensor is expected in the device.

The PTZ camera is designed to improve the convenience of making video calls due to the variable position. It will also allow you to take more interesting photos than other smartwatches.

According to previous rumors, the Kospet Prime 2 will receive an 8-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor, produced by a 12nm FinFET process and built on Cortex A53 cores. The watch will reportedly have twice as much RAM and internal storage as the Apple Watch, that is, 4/6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The chipset supports 13 megapixel + 8 megapixel cameras (it is possible that they will be installed), electronic image stabilization and floating shutter compensation.

Prime 2 will support navigation systems GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, come with Bluetooth 5.0 and dual band Wi-Fi. According to the leaked images, the watch will feature a round dial and additional mechanical controls. The watch will run on the Android system and will receive a face unlock feature.

The flagship Kospet Prime 2 smartwatch is expected to be released by mid-August.

Last year, Kospet launched the Prime model, which is priced at just over $ 100. Kospet Prime is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, 1.6-inch IPS display. The smartwatch has dual 2-megapixel front and 8-megapixel side cameras and a 1260 mAh battery, which provides autonomy for several days.
