Rumors of the Final Fantasy VII remake appearing on the PS Plus free-to-play list in March have proven true. This is confirmed by a recent leak on the Dutch PlayStation Facebook account. Sony prematurely published the March selection, and its flagship was an updated FFVII. The company soon confirmed the accuracy of the information.
Now the original post has already been deleted, but it was noticed by a trusted insider Nibel. He downloaded and published an official picture of the projects that PS Plus subscribers will receive in March. The Final Fantasy VII remake will be accompanied by the co-op action movie Remnant: From the Ashes from Gunfire Games and Perfect World Entertainment. The third free-to-play game will be Farpoint, a PlayStation VR shooter that challenges enemies on a distant planet.
And for PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5, Sony has a special surprise. In addition to the three projects listed, they will receive Maquette, a recursive puzzle game from Graceful Decay and Annapurna Interactive. It will appear in the service immediately upon release.
