Sony has confirmed that there will be a new audio device event on August 6. This is evidenced by the #ListenWithSony tag that accompanied the teaser posted on Sony’s official Twitter account.
It is very likely that the developers will present the WH-1000XM4 wireless headphones to the public at this event. The novelty will be an updated version of the WH-1000XM3 model, which was presented at the annual IFA 2018.
According to reports, the new wireless headphones will be visually indistinguishable from the previous model. Earlier it was reported that the WH-1000XM4 will retain 40mm drivers with an LCD polymer film diaphragm capable of handling powerful bass and capable of reproducing the full frequency range up to 40kHz. It is expected that the novelty will have an active noise cancellation system, and the battery life will be up to 30 hours.

Early leaks suggest that the new Sony headphones will receive Bluetooth connectivity to two devices with the ability to quickly switch between them. To recharge the device, it is supposed to use the USB Type-C interface. Using the LDAC codec will transfer three times more data than standard Bluetooth codecs, which will ensure high quality sound.
More details on the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones will be announced at the official launch on August 6. The expected cost of new items is around $ 348.
