Split screen will appear in Stardew Valley

The creator of the Stardew Valley farming simulator Eric Barone revealed that in Update 1.5 he will add a split screen mode for four people. Although the project has had a co-op function for some time now, you will soon be able to find out for sure that none of your comrades are tinkering with trivia.

Baron has provided screenshot of co-op on Twitter. In a follow-up post, the developer said that while all platforms will be able to play together with a split screen, only on a PC will you be able to invite three more people. However, attentive gamers have noticed that the screenshots show much more. It turned out that the Baron’s record hides a number of new features. For example, desert farms, chests, decorations, and the ability to light torches on the fence.

The last Stardew Valley update came out at the end of 2019. Update 1.5 is known to add a lot of AI-related content, as well as banana trees.

Stardew Valley is out on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, iOS and Android.
