Spotify has begun testing its own counterpart to Stories. Engadget writes about it. So far, the feature is available in a limited number of playlists and only in the mobile app.
A sample function can be found in the Christmas Hits playlist. A circle can be found next to the album name, when you click on it, a series of videos with the participation of some artists will start. Among them are Jennifer Lopez, the Pentatonix collective, Kelly Clarkson and others. More examples can be found in the Tear Drop playlist and the extended version of the Good News album by Megan Thee Stallion.

Speaking to Engadget, Spotify confirmed the feature will be in test mode. Despite this, the company declined to comment on plans regarding its future in the service.
Almost all major services, such as Facebook, VKontakte, Instagram, Snapchat and others, have “stories”. Twitter was one of the latest to launch this option: it has been available to users of the microblogging platform since mid-November.
