Square Enix publisher and developer Crystal Dynamics have shared test statistics with players in connection with the end of the beta testing period for Marvel’s Avengers.
Recall that the “beta” of Marvel’s Avengers took place in three stages: from August 7 to August 9, access was opened to those who pre-ordered the PS4 version, from August 14 to August 16 – to ordinary PS4 owners and purchasers of the game on PC and Xbox One, and from August 21 to 23 – to everyone.
The consolidated achievements of gamers Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics were indicated in the thank-you letters sent to the participants of the trial period of Marvel’s Avengers. During the beta period, users managed to:
- play 28.5 million hours;
- kill 3.5 billion enemies;
- Develop a character to the maximum level 240 thousand times;
- purchase 640 thousand chrome suits of Iron Man (Chroma Lux).
GamesRadar added that 240,000 players who have developed their character to the maximum level represent less than 5% of the beta testing audience. Thus, the trials of Marvel’s Avengers attracted about 4.8 million people.
Along with testing statistics, thank you emails include a link to a survey in which Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics ask participants to rate various aspects of Marvel’s Avengers based on their beta experience.
The release of Marvel’s Avengers is expected on September 4 on PC (Steam), PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. Three days before the premiere, September 1, the third edition of the War Table news show dedicated to the game will take place.
