A month before the presentation of the new Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 smartphones, which will be held on August 5 as part of the Unpacked event, Samsung will present the new smart watch Galaxy Watch 3.
Network sources say the Galaxy Watch 3 will be available with 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch screens in stainless steel and titanium alloy cases for both. As an OS, the new Samsung smartwatch will use Tizen 5.5.
The equipment of the new items will also include a GPS module and an LTE modem. The watch will be able to offer full protection in accordance with the degree of IP68 and the American military standard MIL-STD-810G.

Resource editor XDA Developers Max Weinbach on his Twitter page published The first photos of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch.
As for the features of the new Galaxy Watch 3, they will be similar to the capabilities of the Galaxy Watch Active 2. The novelty will be able to monitor the pulse and blood pressure, as well as record ECG. With the last function, not everything is clear yet. On the same model of Galaxy Watch Active 2, which entered the market about a year ago, the ECG works only in the South Korean market. To use it in other markets, the company must first agree with local regulators. Perhaps by the announcement of the Galaxy Watch 3, this issue will finally be resolved.
