Coffee Stain Publishing and Ghost Ship Games have announced plans to update the co-op game Deep Rock Galactic in 2021. They will also release the largest update in all three years of the project’s existence.
The first update is called Bits N ‘Pieces. It will be released in April and is dedicated to official mod support (Steam only). However, there will be no integration with Steam Workshop yet. The update will also include adjustments to the balance of weapons and the ability to change the control layout on the controller.
Second update studio Ghost Ship Games calls “The biggest update in the history of the game”… It will contain a new type of mission, fresh weapons, cosmetic items and much more. The update will also affect the user interface. The developer plans to release the update between July and September.
Deep Rock Galactic is a sci-fi co-op shooter about space gnome miners who dig procedurally generated caves for treasure and fight alien monsters. The game was released on PC and Xbox One.
