The first multi-platform MLB The Show will be presented in February

Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by SIE San Diego in the official microblog their baseball franchise MLB The Show was reminded of the next installment.

In December 2019, it became known that for the first time since the inception of the series in 1997, the release of MLB The Show will honor systems outside the PlayStation family with its presence.

The expansion of platform geography should happen in 2021 with the release of MLB The Show 21. Where exactly the franchise will take is still unknown, but, apparently, it won’t be long to wait.

As announced in the aforementioned publication, the first news about MLB The Show 21 will be announced next month – February. Probably, we are talking about a full-fledged announcement of the project.

MLB The Show 20, the last exclusive installment in the series, was released in March 2020 exclusively on PS4. As part of the PS Store New Year sale, the project is being sold with a 75% discount.

Games in the MLB The Show series traditionally collect good press. MLB The Show 20 was no exception – the average score of a baseball simulator on Metacritic is 83 out of 100%.

The release of MLB The Show 20 also marked the 15th anniversary of MLB’s The Show sub-series, which began in 2006. Among other things, the anniversary was celebrated with a festive edition, which became an exclusive for the GameStop retail chain.
