Studio inXile Entertainment on its website announced the release of update 1.1.2 for its post-apocalyptic role-playing game Wasteland 3. The patch brought with it “A few big changes”…
The patch is already available on Steam and GOG, and Microsoft Store, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users will have to wait until next week due to the nature of the certification process on these platforms.
The team redesigned the level loading system and significantly reduced the waiting time: up to 60% on the PC version (from 38 to 13 seconds on the test PC of the studio) and up to 25% on consoles.
As a result, the autosave process is no longer part of the download, but takes place simultaneously with it. Because of this, now you can get into a situation where the next scene has already been loaded, and the saving is still ongoing.
Among other things, the developers fixed several bugs that interfered with the passage, eliminated interface errors, improved performance (including on consoles) and carried out “Some characters from the commercials have microdermabrasion”…
“We are glad to see that so many of you are trying to help us improve [Wasteland 3]and we ourselves will continue to do this for the foreseeable future. “, – commented inXile Entertainment on the release of the patch.
Wasteland 3 was released on August 28 this year on PC (Steam, GOG, Windows 10, Xbox Game Pass), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The journalists rated the game at the level of the second part – the average score of the triquel on Metacritic is from 78 to 85 points.
