Realme has announced the date of the event at which the Realme 8 series of smartphones is expected to be presented. The presentation of new products will take place, as previously reported, at the end of this month – March 24.
The company revealed the date of the presentation in a teaser video of the arrival of Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme in India and Europe, in a sports car at the Buddha International Circuit in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh, India). At 1:43 in the video, the date of the event is confirmed, and between the 2:06 and 2:16 marks, Sheth reports that a smartphone with a 108-megapixel camera will be presented on this day.
The series is expected to include the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro models. According to previously published teasers, Realme 8 is equipped with a quadruple camera with a main 64-megapixel module, the older model also has a quadruple camera, but the resolution of the main sensor is 108 megapixels. Both models have the slogan of the company “Dare to Leap” on the back panel, which is found on the Realme X7 Pro smartphone.
We add that earlier Madhav Sheth posted an image on Twitter that reveals the characteristics of Realme 8, including an eight-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, and a 5000 mAh battery with support for 30W charging.
