Deep Silver and developer 1C Entertainment have announced the final release date for their fantasy RPG King’s Bounty II as part of the Epic Games Store Spring Show.
Recall that the release of King’s Bounty II was originally expected during 2020, but shortly before the start of the gamescom 2020 online exhibition, it became known that the project was postponed to March 2021.
As announced, the developers will not be in time by this time either: King’s Bounty II will go on sale on August 24 this year for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
According to Nikolai Baryshnikov, General Director of 1C Entertainment, the decision on the next transfer was made so that the team “There was more time for the implementation of all ideas”…
The producer of King’s Bounty II Denis Maltsev added that by now all the main gameplay mechanics and content are ready, and the game can already be played from start to finish.
“The postponement of the world premiere will give our team additional precious months for the overall balancing that is so necessary for such an important project of 1C Entertainment, with its ambitious large open world, complex storytelling, exciting turn-based battles and deep role-playing mechanics”– said Maltsev.
The developers of King’s Bounty II promise turn-based tactical battles, “An exciting adventure with a non-linear storyline”as well as a world full of “Bright events, memorable characters and moral dilemmas”…
