Bloomberg once again becomes the source of a new portion of rumors about the upcoming version of the Nintendo Switch. According to the resource, the updated version of the game console will appear on the market by the end of the year, it will be based on a new model of the NVIDIA processor and will receive an increased amount of memory. An important innovation will be support for DLSS technology, which NVIDIA introduced in 2018 to intelligently improve the quality of the image in games. Alas, DLSS support on the part of games will require corresponding changes in the program code, and therefore you will be able to enjoy the improved image quality only after the release of new games.

Experts believe that the updated Nintendo Switch will receive a higher price tag, from $ 349 to $ 399. The current version of the console is priced at $ 299 with a 6.2-inch display that supports a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Image output to an external display is possible at a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. In the new version of the consoles, the last characteristic will be expanded to 3840×2160 pixels, but the resolution of the standard display will remain the same. In terms of overall performance, the new Nintendo Switch will still lag behind current offerings from Sony and Microsoft.
