Tinkoff has developed a service for automatically sending electronic checks when paying with a card

The law requires the seller to send an electronic check only at the request of the buyer. Therefore, it is easier for everyone to issue paper checks. Using the service, companies can save on printing, and
customers – save checks in the bank application or in e-mail.

Tinkoff developed an open technology for automatically sending an electronic check instead of printing paper, which is available when paying with a card. According to the bank’s calculations, companies will save on printing
several million rubles a year.

Any offline store, fiscal data operator, cash register manufacturer or issuing bank can connect the technology for free.

Tinkoff claims that the development is unique – the company plans to propose to the International Organization for Standardization to supplement world standards with this add-on.

To use the solution, the online cash desk must support the payment process and check generation. Either the cash register provider should have another opportunity to get HASH or data from the protocol
Acquiring ISO 8583.

The development has already been connected to the Level Kitchen delivery service and stores using MultiSoft cash desks, Tinkoff said.

Now, in order to receive an electronic check instead of a printed one, it is necessary to leave an e-mail at the checkout.
