Ubisoft has introduced a new PvE mode called Summit in the multiplayer role-playing shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, which is designed for multiple playthroughs. At the same time, the developer spoke about other short-term plans.
Update 11 will release on September 22nd. Together with him, the third season will begin, and the PvE mode “Summit” will also appear. In the latter, agents have to clear 100 floors of a skyscraper. As you progress up, players will face all the factions of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. As you climb to the very top, you will receive unique rewards, including a new exotic item. The Summit will only be available to players who have completed the Warlords of New York campaign.
Season 3 will add new targets and a round-up: Black Tusk leader Bardon Schaeffer has created a new Renegade Cell, and the agents will have to hunt him down. In addition, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will have new equipment, a skill module and exotic items that can be obtained by completing daily tasks and participating in events.
In addition, Update 11 will add a skin modification system to the character menu, which allows you to choose clothes in the same style for your character. Ubisoft also said that Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will be backward compatible on both Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5. It will not have to be purchased again by owners of copies for Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
Finally, a new limited-time event, tentatively titled Nightmare, was announced. It will launch this winter, with details from Ubisoft in the coming months.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is currently available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
