Trials of Mana developers celebrate the remake of 1 million copies sold with a solemn illustration

Square Enix Publishing on the official microblogging Seiken Densetsu 3 (Japanese name Trials of Mana) announced that the Trials of Mana remake has reached a new peak in sales.

We will remind, earlier Square Enix expressed satisfaction in connection with the financial results of Trials of Mana, but until recently did not share specific indicators.

As it became known, since the premiere, the total shipments and sales of the updated Trials of Mana in digital distribution services have exceeded 1 million copies.

On the occasion of the remake reaching a new peak, the development team prepared a solemn illustration (attached below), which they shared with their subscribers.

The remake is distinguished from the original Trials of Mana by three-dimensional graphics, a redesigned character progress system and changed arrangements of musical compositions (you can switch between the old and new soundtracks).

The Trials of Mana remake was released in April 2020 on PC (Steam), PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Just four months after the release (for Square Enix, this is a record), the Denuvo anti-piracy system was removed from the game.

Journalists greeted the modernized Trials of Mana relatively warmly: the rating of the project on Metacritic, depending on the target platform, varies from 74 (Switch) to 78% (PC).
