Two-minute trailer for shareware shooter ExoMecha in the spirit of Crysis

In the summer of 2020, TwistedRed studio introduced ExoMecha, a shareware competitive shooting game. Now, the developers have shared a striking new trailer with a cut of battles – in two minutes, it is intended to give an idea of what to expect after the project launches this year on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S.

ExoMecha promises to offer three main playstyles (battle royale, questing, and teamfight), as well as robots, vehicles, and even boss battles. All equipment, soldiers and weapons are chrome plated. The action takes place on Omeha – a new untouched planet with an exotic nature. In the video, however, the environment is still rather poor: a tropical coastline and rather deserted volcanic rocks.

In the future, the developers promise more civilizations and more diverse maps. The various mechs shown in the video can be controlled, as well as all available equipment such as helicopters or spider tanks. The robots will have long-range weapons, but above all they will have to rely on huge swords and shields. In some modes, a dragon may appear on the battlefield in the middle of matches, for the victory over which special rewards will be given.

The fighter can be modified with various skills and items: grappling hook, increased mobility, additional armor, and so on. Xbox Series X will be able to offer two main modes: full 4K resolution at 60 fps or dynamic resolution (up to 4K) at 120 fps. In terms of style and gameplay, the project clearly resembles the Crysis series, although, of course, you should not count on a full-fledged plot.
