Ultimate Knockout surpasses 10 million copies on September 30

The massively multiplayer hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has sold over 10 million copies on Steam, according to a financial statement from Unity Technologies. Data is current as of September 30, 2020.

Prior to that, it was known that at the end of August, more than 7 million copies of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout were sold on PC. This means that 3 million copies were sold in September alone. In addition, the game has been announced as the most downloaded game on PlayStation Plus.

After the launch of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, analyst firm SuperData Research said the game was the largest PC release since Overwatch in 2016. It immediately took off to the top of the Steam charts and sold 2 million copies in its first week. Within days of launching Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, it attracted 120,000 players simultaneously on PC and PlayStation 4, which is also a good result.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is developed by London studio Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital. But before the project was picked up by Devolver, the team proposed it to a dozen different companies, which turned it down.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is out on PC and PlayStation 4.
