A team of Russian enthusiasts Revolution Team is working on the creation of Vice City 2 – a remaster of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the RAGE Engine of the version that was used to create the fourth part of the series. Recently modders have shared the intermediate results of their work. They have posted a selection of screenshots and a video that demonstrates city driving and the process of improving cars.
A fresh video allows you to evaluate the visual component of Vice City 2. The game has really changed and prettier, although by modern standards it still looks outdated. GTA IV, the engine of which is taken as a basis in the project, was released back in 2008, so you should not expect an actual visual part. However, the vehicles in Vice City 2 look much prettier than in the original. They have become more detailed and got the opportunity to get improvements. Tuning into a fan-made remaster migrated straight from the fourth part of the series. Users are free to drive into the garage, select accessories for the car and install visual decorations.
The Revolution Team has been developing Vice City 2 for eight years now. In the near future, enthusiasts intend to release a demo version of their project. But the release date of the full version is still unknown.
