It is possible that the Chinese company Vivo, one of the world’s largest suppliers of smartphones, will soon start offering computers under the iQOO subsidiary brand.
According to Internet sources, Vivo has submitted applications for registration of two new trademarks – iQOO Pad and iQOO Book. These names clearly indicate that the Chinese developer is eyeing new markets for itself.
In particular, the release of tablet computers can be organized under the name iQOO Pad. As for the iQOO Book, this name is suitable for laptops, including those with a transformable design.
So far, however, Vivo is only registering these trademarks. Unfortunately, nothing has been reported about when commercial devices with such names may appear.
Meanwhile, on August 17, the presentation of powerful smartphones Vivo iQOO 5 is scheduled. These devices will receive a Full HD + display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels, a Snapdragon 865 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of at least 128 GB. A feature of the devices will be support for ultra-fast charging technology with a power of 120 W, which will fully replenish the battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh in just 15 minutes.
