Microsoft Corporation and studio Asobo announced the imminent start of testing VR-functions in the flight simulator Microsoft Flight Simulator. The dev team is asking the community to help check upcoming builds of the game and not tell anyone about them.
Closed beta testing will take place in two stages to “Pay special attention to reviews and what we learn”… The first phase will focus on Windows Mixed Reality devices. The second test will cover additional VR headsets.

To sign up, you need a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator, a VR headset, and a PC with at least the following specifications:
- OS: Windows 10 (1909);
- processor: Intel Core i5-4460 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.4 GHz;
- video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB or similar in power;
- RAM: 16 GB;
- hard disk space: 150 GB;
- internet connection: 5 Mbps.
Selected test takers will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Read more about this on the official website of the game.
