Wildberries reduced the commission for electronics sellers by 5 times

Wildberries cut its own trading commission from 5% to 1% in a number of electronics categories under the Fulfillment By Sellers (FBS) sales scheme. So 1% is the lowest
the amount of the trading remuneration of the online platform today

A 1% commission applies to the sale of smartphones, laptops, computers, tablets, video cards, hard drives, monitors, smart plugs, projectors and other goods. For other categories
electronics and household appliances under the FBS scheme also has a reduced trade commission of 5%. In addition, when selling on FBS, sellers do not pay for the service of receiving and storing the goods.

Electronics and household appliances are among the most dynamically growing Wildberries categories, their sales in 2020 increased 3 times to 46.6 billion rubles. In particular, notebook sales increased
by 342%, smartphones – by 155%, monitors – by 294%, video cards – by 662%.

In 2020, the share of sales of electronics and household appliances in Wildberries’ turnover increased more than 2 times to 11%, and the number of sellers in these categories increased 6 times to 6.4 thousand.

According to the new FBS delivery scheme, Wildberries sellers have been selling goods since November 2020.In real time, they receive information about buyers’ orders, after which they carry out transportation
goods to the Wildberries distribution center.

In 2020, the online platform has already reduced commissions in several product groups. The most significant – 3 times from 15 to 5% – it was reduced in a number of product groups of categories “construction
tools ”, from 10 to 5% – in“ sports nutrition and cosmetics ”, from 15 to 10% – in“ jewelry ”.

During the year, Wildberries’ sellers have more than doubled their assortment to 8.2 million SKU.
