Together with many other products, Xiaomi today officially presented its new Mi TV Stick in Russia. It is designed to give any TV with an HDMI connector the functionality of the Android TV platform.
The Mi TV Stick is built on a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, which is complemented by a Mali-450 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory and runs on Android TV 9.0 operating system.
The new product comes with a Mi Voice Remote control, which provides separate keys for streaming services Netflix and Amazon Prime. For an easier search for the desired content, a voice assistant is provided. Since the Mi TV Stick has Google Play support, you can install various applications and games from the Play Store on it.
The device measures 92.4 x 30.2 x 15.2 mm and weighs only 28.5 grams – about the size of an average flash drive. The Mi TV Stick has Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2 modules, and a USB port is used for power. In addition, the new product supports Dolby and DTS audio technologies.
The official Russian price of the Mi TV Stick is 3,490 rubles. It will be possible to buy the new product next month in the Mi.com brand store and official Mi Stores, as well as in many major retail chains.
