The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra showed the world how big a main camera unit can be. After that, the Huawei P40 Pro entered the market, which proved that manufacturers have ceased to be afraid to increase the size of this module. Apparently, soon Xiaomi will release the Mi 10 Pro Plus with a really huge main camera unit.
The network has leaked pictures of a protective case designed for the upcoming flagship smartphone of the Chinese tech giant. In addition to the impressive size of the cutout for the main camera module, you can see the inscription “100X Infinity Zoom” on it. It clearly indicates that the novelty will receive a 100x zoom, and by this parameter it will reach the level of the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
At the same time, the question is of interest, what is the reason for such a huge size of the main camera module. It has been speculated that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus could be the first smartphone with dual periscope cameras to offer varying degrees of optical zoom. It is also believed that the device will receive more sensors than any other smartphone offers. In addition, there is a possibility that a small additional display will be located next to the lenses, as was the case with the Meizu Pro 7.
Insiders are confident that the new Xiaomi flagship smartphone will be unveiled on August 11. It is known that the smartphone will be able to boast an AMOLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz. It also reported support for fast charging with a capacity of 100 or 120 watts. The “heart” of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 or 865+ chipset. The estimated cost of the smartphone has not yet been announced.
