Xiaomi Redmi 9A may be the first smartphone on the MediaTek Helio G25 chip

The day before we reported that the 3C certification (China Compulsory Certificate) received an inexpensive Xiaomi Redmi 9A smartphone. New information reveals the technical specifications and design features of this device.

As you can see in the image, the device will receive a display with a drop-shaped cutout in the upper part under a single front camera. The latter will allow you to take 5-megapixel photos.

Screen size will be 6.53 inches diagonally; refers to the use of an HD + format panel. In the back of the case there will be a single camera, not multi-module, as previously assumed. Its basis will be a 13-megapixel sensor.

Perhaps the most curious is the fact that the Redmi 9A model will be based on the not yet officially presented MediaTek Helio G25 processor. It is known that this chip combines eight cores, the clock frequency of which reaches 2.0 GHz.

Finally, it is said that a powerful 5000 mAh battery is available. The device will be able to function in the fourth-generation 4G / LTE mobile networks.

Network sources previously also reported the presence of 3 GB of RAM and an infrared port. The capacity of the flash drive is most likely to be 32 GB.

Thus, Redmi 9A could be the first smartphone on the MediaTek Helio G25 chip. Given the above characteristics, we can assume that the price of the device will be in the range of 100-130 US dollars.
