Xiaomi has unveiled a teaser announcing that a virtual presentation will take place on August 11, at which the latest products from a renowned Chinese developer will debut.
What exactly will be discussed is not specified. But it is known that the co-founder and CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun will appeal to consumers. He will talk about the past, present and future of the company.
The respected Chinese tech blog Digital Chat Station reports that the virtual event will feature the latest smartphones and other Xiaomi devices.
In particular, the presentation of the flagship device Mi 10 Pro Plus is expected. The high-performance smartphone is rumored to have a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor up to 3.1GHz, a 6.67-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5G modem to connect to fifth-generation mobile networks. The equipment will allegedly include a triple camera with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a unit with ultra-wide-angle optics and a periscope module with optical zoom.
We add that Xiaomi is the third largest smartphone supplier in Russia (after Honor and Samsung). According to the results of the second quarter of this year, the company occupied 19.8% of the market for “smart” cellular devices in our country (in piece terms).
