The Poco brand, introduced by the Chinese company Xiaomi in August 2018, will soon announce the mid-range smartphone Poco M2 Pro: information about this device appeared immediately on several certification sites.
In particular, the new product has been certified by Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. It is said that the device supports Wi-Fi wireless in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, as well as Bluetooth 5.0. The operating system Android 10 is indicated as a software platform.
The device is credited with using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, which combines eight Kryo 465 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.3 GHz, an Adreno 618 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X15 LTE modem.
According to rumors, the equipment will include a 6.67-inch display, a 16-megapixel front camera and a four main camera in a configuration of 48 + 8 + 5 + 2 million pixels. It is a question of having 4 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB. Power will be provided by a powerful rechargeable battery with a capacity of about 5000 mAh.
Certification of the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG means that the official presentation of the Poco M2 Pro will take place soon. Probably, the smartphone will debut before the end of the current quarter.
