Zephyr Gaming has introduced a gaming mouse of the same name, which differs from all other gaming mice on the market today by the presence of a fan, which is designed to improve the user’s grip in intense games.
On the one hand, the device is a lightweight RBG-backlit wired gaming mouse with seven different lighting effects, vaguely reminiscent of the Cooler Master MM711. On the other hand, the “rodent” is equipped with a built-in fan that will cool the player’s hand in the most intense game situations.
The Zephyr Gaming Mouse’s built-in fan is angled at a 45 degree angle for better palm cooling. If desired, you can adjust the speed of its rotation. Three profiles are available: 4000, 7000 and 10,000 rpm. In addition to the mouse, the fan itself has switchable RGB lighting.
The novelty is equipped with six buttons (the main ones use Omron switches with a resource of 50 million clicks) and a rubber-coated scroll wheel. The device is based on the Pixart PMW3389 optical sensor, which supports resolutions from 100 to 16,000 DPI (dots per inch). For comparison, the same sensor is used, for example, in the Razer DeathAdder Elite gaming mouse. The mouse polling rate is 1000 Hz (delay rate is 1 ms). For its “rodent” Zephyr Gaming has provided 5 standard sensor sensitivity settings.
Manual installation of the driver software for the new product is not required. She will install everything she needs herself the first time she connects to a computer. The manipulator works with a PC running Windows 7 or macOS 10.11 and newer operating systems.
Dimensions of the computer game pad Zephyr Gaming Mouseare 121.60 x 65.15 x 40.70 mm, weight – 68 grams. The mouse has a 1.8 m non-removable soft-braided USB cable.
The novelty offers a choice of two body colors: black and white. In the future, the company also plans to release a pink version. Checkout for Zephyr Gaming Mouse is offered on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform.
Early adopters who pre-order for $ 79 will receive Zephyr Gaming Mouse this October. The package will also include a special dust blower for the mouse.
