AliExpress Russia disclosed financial year results for the first time

At the end of the fiscal year (April 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021) AliExpress Russia remains the most visited marketplace in Russia with a turnover of over 229 billion rubles. The turnover of goods from Russia for this
the period amounted to about 55 billion rubles and grew by 151% year-on-year.

Turnover (GMV) for the financial year (April 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021) amounted to 229.3 billion rubles (excluding services) against 209.6 billion rubles in 2020. Local business turnover (not including services),
fully launched AliExpress Russia at the time of the creation of the joint venture in October 2019, exceeded 54.9 billion rubles in the financial year and grew by 151% year-on-year.

In March 2021, the average daily number of local orders reached 64 thousand per day.

The total number of unique buyers for the financial year exceeded 26.2 million people. AliExpress has a monthly audience of 29.1 million and a daily audience of 8.8 million. amount
unique visits for the financial year exceeded 72.5 million, which is 30% more than last year. Interestingly, 1.2 million new customers came to the platform from gadgets during
VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.

The number of SPUs (unique commodity units excluding colors and sizes) with delivery from China and other countries amounted to more than 139.2 million, while the figure for Russian sellers increased by 368%
for the year and amounted to 7 million. The sellers themselves became 350% more and now there are 45 thousand of them on the site.

The most popular categories in terms of turnover (GMV) are: Phones, Electronics, Computers and office equipment, Auto parts and accessories, Home and garden products, and Tools.

By the number of orders: Home and garden products (more than 32 million orders were made during the year), Beauty and health products (more than 30 million orders were made during the year), Jewelry and bijouterie (20.5
million orders), Electronics (20 million orders), Sporting goods (15.6 million orders) and Tools (11 million orders).

In Russia, the leaders in the first category are: Automotive parts and accessories (up 367%), Tools (up 306%), Computers and office equipment (up 168%), Phones (up 104%), Devices
for home (up 84%) and Electronics (up 73%). By frequency of orders: Electronics (1.7 million orders with an increase of 124%), Phones (1.5 million orders with an increase of 105%), Beauty and health (1.3 million
orders up 378%), Home appliances (1.3 million orders up 87%), Home and garden products (1.2 million orders up 701%), Automotive parts and accessories (1 million orders with
an increase of 872%).

Top-growing categories by order quantity: food, electronics, hair accessories, home appliances, motorcycle accessories, safety products,
stationery for office and school.

The top local stores and the fastest growing for the year, among others, included manufacturers and sellers of electronics and gadgets “Megafon”, Molnia Electronics, Smart Life, Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei,
Citylink, Toshiba, Svyaznoy, Asus, SONY, JBL, Beeline, and household appliances manufacturers Zigmund & Shtain, Redmond, Braun, Vitek.

AliExpress Russia plans for the current fiscal year (April 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022) to continue to increase the range of local sellers, logistics capacities, and launch an updated product
(web version and mobile application) developed in Russia, as well as launch an updated loyalty program for users.
